Main duties of the job

  • To support the Service Manager to ensure that the service provided by the Liaison, Diversion and Reconnect is safe, effective and of high quality
  • To act as line manager for an identified staff group of varied professional backgrounds and grades
  • To provide professional leadership through daily team management, role-modelling, supervision and training
  • To collaborate with stakeholders on service delivery, developments and problem-solving, in order to maintain the provision of a responsive service
  • To play a key role in service development, such as service user pathway evaluation and recruitment and selection
  • To work within the CJLDS as a senior clinical practitioner, providing an ‘all vulnerabilities’ screening/assessment service, and supporting team members to do the same
  • To have a robust approach to risk management, both in own practice and overseeing that of the wider service delivery
