Overview
Are you an experienced mental health professional who enjoys working autonomously? Join KMPT in the Gravesend Alliance/Springfield Health PCN (Gravesend locality) to bridge the gap between Primary Care and specialist Mental Health services by delivering high quality mental health care in Primary Care settings and ensuring people\\\’s needs are met in a timely way. The role requires travel between various GP surgeries in the locality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality mental health care in Primary Care settings and ensure timely access to services.
- Bridge between Primary Care and specialist Mental Health services.
- Travel between various GP surgeries in the locality in a timely manner.
- Provide supervision to Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners across the locality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced Mental Health Practitioner with experience in a Primary Care and/or Community Mental Health setting.
- Open to all professions; strong, confident, assertive communicator with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and creatively in a busy and demanding role; excellent assessment skills; knowledge of local services.
- Leadership experience is valuable.
