A modern, forward-thinking digital dental laboratory is seeking a CAD/CAM Lead to take ownership of its digital design and production workflow. This is a key role in guiding the CAD/CAM function, developing processes, and ensuring that high-quality restorations are delivered consistently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead the CAD/CAM operation, ensuring smooth daily workflow and on-time case delivery
β’ Oversee digital design using 3Shape and/or EXOCAD, ensuring accuracy and quality
β’ Manage CAM processes and supervise milling machine operation, maintenance and calibration
β’ Produce highly accurate 3D printed dental models
β’ Support, mentor and upskill junior CAD/CAM colleagues
β’ Develop and refine digital workflows to improve efficiency and output quality
β’ Collaborate with the wider lab team to troubleshoot cases and ensure excellent customer outcomes.
Skills & Experience
β’ Strong hands-on experience with 3Shape and/or EXOCAD
β’ Proven experience in a CAD/CAM or digital dental lab environment
β’ Confident in 3D printing systems and CAM/milling workflows
β’ Able to lead, mentor and support a small team
β’ Strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
β’ Takes pride in delivering high-quality digital restorations
β’ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
β’ Dental knowledge preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate
