An opportunity has opened for an experienced Crown and Bridge Ceramist to join a busy dental laboratory in Wokingham. This role is ideal for a technician with strong ceramic bench skills who can deliver consistently high standards across crown and bridge work. The focus is on stain and glaze, micro-layering of IPS e.max and zirconia restorations, and producing well-finished work to prescription and deadline. CAD exposure would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high quality crown and bridge restorations to consistent aesthetic and functional standards
- Carry out stain and glaze work and micro-layering on IPS e.max and zirconia cases
- Work accurately from prescriptions, shade instructions, and agreed turnaround times
- Maintain strong quality standards across anatomy, occlusion, contacts, and final finish
- Support smooth case flow by collaborating effectively with the wider laboratory team
- Complete final quality checks before dispatch and take pride in consistently high workmanship
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Crown and Bridge Ceramist within a dental laboratory
- GDC registration required
- Strong hands-on experience in stain and glaze
- Proven micro-layering experience across IPS e.max and zirconia
- High attention to detail with a strong eye for quality and aesthetics
- Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team
- CAD experience is ideal but not essential
