Job Summary

Kensington & PowerA have an opportunity for the ideal candidate to shape the future of commercial & consumer electronics in the UK. The Channel Marketing Manager UK will be responsible for developing and managing successful and engaging B2B and B2C marketing campaigns working closely with channel partners (resellers, etailers & distributors), sales teams, internal stakeholders, partners and a selection of marketing agencies in multiple markets across the Kensington & PowerA brands. The primary objectives for this role will be to increase profitable sales revenue through channel partners in multiple markets & channels as well as increasing end user marketing lead pipeline through various marketing methods. Beyond core Channel Marketing responsibilities, this role offers the opportunity to lead selected strategic campaigns and projects that contribute directly to the ongoing development of the Kensington and PowerA brands. Your ideas and initiatives will help shape how these brands grow and connect with audiences across the UK. This role will involve semi‑regular travel.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute online and offline demand generation plans with B2B, etail and retail channel partners to increase run rate sales, grow market share and to drive lead acquisition
- Build and maintain relationships with B2B, etail and retail channel partners throughout the region, and leverage those relationships to develop marketing plans, incentives, and programs to strengthen collaboration and drive sales. Travel to strategic business partners is necessary in this role
- Manage the Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for the customers within region, ensuring budget spend discipline with comprehensive planning, tracking and ROI analysis
- Utilise TAM and market data to formulate marketing plans, targeting areas for low hanging fruit share gain activities & develop strategies & tactics to execute on those opportunities
- Ensure new products are launched through the channel flawlessly, gaining sales velocity quickly
- Working together with local eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager EMEA to develop digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to PPC & Paid Social, to generate B2B leads for the sales team to engage and where to buy leads for our etail partners
- Working collaboratively with regional etail channel partners, ensure Kensington & PowerA products are merchandised optimally and plan marketing activity to drive sales and take share online
- Build strong internal relationships with Office/Consumer Channel colleagues, acting as a Kensington & PowerA expert in relevant markets to drive sales growth and new listings within the office channel
- Provide input into the Demand Planning/Forecasting process to ensure product availability during promotional periods
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B and/or etail/retail marketing, preferably in tech, consumer electronics or gaming, with a focus on channel/partner marketing
- Financially & commercially astute, with budget control experience
- Self‑starter who is professional, has a results driven attitude and strong work ethic. We are looking for an outgoing personality who enjoys building relationships with customers and colleagues across the globe
- The ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision & interaction
- Solid all‑round experience of channel marketing
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Multiple European languages would be a strong advantage
- Have an innovative/entrepreneurial mind‑set
