Job Description:
We are looking for a Brand Director to help build the brand and business for one of our luxury travel brands, Kensington. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand, you will be responsible for developing a brand with an accelerated growth trajectory and an ambitious revenue plan. In this role, you’ll be stewarding the brand through its growth phase, working with the performance and lifecycle marketing teams as well as other key stakeholders to grow our business. The ideal candidate will have experience building brands across paid, earned, and owned channels in fast-growing direct-to-consumer companies and/or early-stage startups.

  • Shape the voice of the Kensington brand across our visual design, content & collateral.
  • Ensure that every customer touchpoint – both digital and physical – reflects Kensington’s brand value proposition, creating an impressive, consistent customer experience.
  • Build, execute, and manage a marketing plan to help the business achieve its revenue goals – with a focus on lead generation, customer acquisition & retention.
  • Support the development and continuous optimization of our websites, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve commercial performance.
  • Work with our leadership team to develop marketing plans for our lines of business to assist in achieving their revenue targets, defining & measuring progress against key metrics, and adapting your approaches based on structured experiments & results.
  • Collaborate closely with our performance marketing & creative teams to develop assets & campaigns across customer acquisition channels, optimizing for both growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Lead the development of content, collateral & initiatives to empower our internal sales, commercial, product & marketing teams to achieve our performance targets & KPIs.
  • Ensure our customers get to their ‘aha’ moment quicker, reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value. Identify opportunities to grow our share of wallet by enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support the development of new initiatives & programs that drive traffic to our websites and improve our brand awareness & engagement. Additionally, leverage partner Co-op opportunities to drive additional traffic.

Qualifications

  • 7-9 years of experience building brands, marketing plans, and teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing growth.
  • Fluency in CRMs, audience segmentation strategies, and aligning audiences to objectives – and has used HubSpot or something similar.
  • Strong experience stewarding a brand (preferably a luxury brand) in all aspects of the customer journey and experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proven expertise in problem-solving and multiple project management.
  • Experience in a premium/luxury business. Understands luxury clientele with a clear sense of the style and brand consistency required to attract them.
  • In-depth experience developing and executing marketing plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to create strong working relationships based on trust and confidence.
  • Strong communication skills: you can present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely across all levels within the organization.
  • Travel industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or other relevant post-secondary achievement.
