This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced and proactive nanny who enjoys working in a relaxed, family-focused home and is happy to become a trusted and valued part of the household. The ideal candidate will have a “muck-in” attitude, be easy-going in nature, and be confident working collaboratively alongside Mum.
The role is focused on caring for two energetic and curious young boys aged 3 years and 16 months. A nanny who is physically active, engaging and enjoys both indoor and outdoor play is essential. The eldest is an inquisitive and bright little boy who loves cars, trains, and visiting transport-related attractions such as the Transport, RAF, and Postal Museums. He enjoys both independent play and active outdoor time. His younger brother is a happy, content baby/toddler who is just beginning to walk and talk and currently naps daily from approximately 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The family value routine but maintain a relaxed and flexible approach to daily life, enjoying spontaneous outings and activities where possible. Dad travels frequently for work, and therefore additional weekend support is required. Mum will usually be present, so the role will involve a mix of shared care and occasional sole charge. Confidence, adaptability and a calm, supportive approach are key.
