This is a 9–12-month temporary rota nanny position within a well‑organised Cotswolds household, supporting two children while their current nanny is on maternity leave. Set within a rural estate near Cheltenham, the role offers the opportunity to work within a structured, fully staffed environment where professionalism, discretion and initiative are key.
The family are seeking an experienced rota nanny who can step confidently into the role, maintain continuity of care and provide a calm, consistent presence in the children’s daily lives. The household is home to two children: A thoughtful and sociable 5-year-old girl who attends school full‑time and enjoys a structured routine, creative play and time outdoors. A 3-year-old boy who is not yet in nursery and benefits from a nurturing, engaging and developmentally focused approach tailored to early years learning and exploration.
Both parents have demanding careers and are frequently working outside the home, although they may occasionally be present during the day. The nanny must be confident working independently, taking initiative and managing the children’s routines and activities seamlessly, while also understanding when to step back to allow space for family time.
