📍 Location: Fully Remote (including all training)

👤 Reports to: Underwriting Team Manager

Are you an experienced Mortgage Underwriter ready to make a real impact?

Join our Lending Operations team at Kensington Mortgages, where your expertise will help shape responsible lending decisions and support customers who need us most.

What You\’ll Do

• Assess and approve Residential & Buy-to-Let mortgage applications
• Apply FCA standards and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and process improvements
• Maintain high standards in risk-based decision‑making

What You\’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in Prime & Specialist lending
• Mandate of £200k+
• Strong communication and broker engagement skills
• Knowledge of FCA permissions and fraud prevention
• Experience with niche Buy-to-Let lending (HMOs, refurbishments, multi‑unit)
• Manual Underwriting experience
