Are you experienced in handling inbound sales enquiries and passionate about delivering outstanding service? Kensington Mortgages is looking for a New Business Consultant to join our growing Sales team. You’ll play a key role in supporting mortgage brokers with product, policy and criteria enquiries, while building strong relationships and helping convert quality new business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing inbound calls from intermediaries, solicitors and applicants within agreed service levels
  • Supporting brokers with pre‑application submissions via Kensington’s online portal
  • Reviewing declined/referred cases and helping convert them into quality submissions
  • Building and strengthening relationships with Mortgage Intermediaries
  • Working closely with Field Sales and Underwriters to deliver excellent service and outcomes
  • Managing application and administration fees
  • Ensuring all correspondence, valuations and references align with lending criteria
  • Handling complaints, risk and compliance activities in line with company policy
  • Supporting vulnerable customers and delivering fair customer outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Financial Services experience (mortgage experience preferred)
  • Experience handling high volumes of inbound calls in a sales or operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage market, products and lending criteria
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of competitors and market conditions
  • Confident using multiple systems and working to targets and SLAs
  • A customer‑focused, detail‑driven and collaborative approach
