The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager to take ownership of our Project Management capability and lead delivery across a portfolio of strategic change. This is a key leadership role, combining people leadership, delivery oversight and continuous improvement. You’ll play a critical role in aligning delivery to strategic priorities, improving ways of working, and driving performance across the change portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll influence at all levels to ensure strong governance, clear communication and effective execution. We are looking for someone who has proven experience in leading and transforming teams of change professionals, not just delivered projects themselves.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers
- Embed consistent delivery standards, frameworks and methodologies
- Align project delivery to organisational strategy and business objectives
- Oversee resource allocation, prioritisation and delivery performance
- Drive governance, risk management and reporting
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships
- Champion continuous improvement, including Agile and value stream approaches
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience leading and transforming a project management function or team
- Proven track record delivering change in regulated environments
- Experience improving delivery frameworks, tools and methodologies
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder influencing skills
- Comfortable across Agile, Value Stream and traditional delivery approaches
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and decision‑making capability
