The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are looking to hire a Completions Agent to manage a pipeline of mortgage applications from approval through to completion. You will ensure cases progress efficiently, keep all stakeholders updated, and deliver a high standard of service throughout the completion journey. From time to time, you may also support other roles within Lending Operations.
What you will do:
- Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications, ensuring all expectations are clearly communicated and met.
- Handle all stakeholder communication in line with company policies and service standards.
- Liaise regularly with solicitors to progress cases to completion.
- Build strong working relationships with Sales and Credit Risk teams to support service and quality improvements.
- Act fairly and professionally when dealing with intermediaries, solicitors and valuers.
- Check all applications for completeness before submitting for funds release approval.
- Assess and action all correspondence to ensure lending criteria and conditions are met.
- Maintain accurate file and data records at all times.
- Handle complaints in line with the company's complaint handling procedures.
- Support colleagues' pipelines during periods of absence.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the delivery of system and workflow changes.
- Carry out responsibilities relating to Treating Customers Fairly and Financial Crime, including money laundering and fraud prevention.
What you will bring:
- Experience in a processing or administration environment.
- Mortgage Completions Experience.
- Financial services experience and confident telephone handling, including complaint handling.
- Strong integrity and commitment to treating customers fairly.
- Awareness of the mortgage and financial services market.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures and stay updated on any changes.
- Strong awareness of risk and the ability to manage it in day to day activities.
- Ability to use all relevant systems confidently.
- Ability to work to performance targets and service standards.
- GCSEs including English and Maths.
