Overall Purpose of The Role
You will lead and develop a team of Project Managers, ensuring high quality delivery across multiple projects and embedding a consistent, outcome focused delivery approach. You will play a critical role in aligning delivery to strategic priorities, improving ways of working, and driving performance across the change portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will influence at all levels, ensuring strong governance, clear communication, and effective execution across the organisation. This is a leadership role, we are looking for someone who has a skill set and proven experience in transforming and performance managing teams of change professionals.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers
- Ensure consistent delivery standards, frameworks and methodology across projects
- Align project delivery to organisational strategy and business objectives
- Oversee resource allocation, prioritisation and delivery performance
- Drive strong governance, risk management and reporting
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, influencing at all levels
- Champion continuous improvement and evolving ways of working, including Agile and value stream approaches
Experience, Knowledge, Skills
- Proven experience transforming and leading a project management function or team in a fast paced environment
- Strong track record delivering change within regulated environments
- Experience shaping and improving delivery frameworks, tools or methodologies
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder influencing skills
- Comfortable operating across Agile, Value Stream and traditional delivery approaches
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and decision making capability
