As a Team Leader, you’ll help us grow our service in Ealing. You’ll oversee a team that offers bespoke activities and outings for children and young people with special educational needs.

  • Support the day-to-day operational management, delivery and development of the service.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and oversight of a team that includes Support Workers, students and volunteers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and care plans for the clients.
  • Plan and implement a variety of recreational and educational activities tailored to the interests and needs of our clients.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to parents/guardians regarding clients' development and progress.

Requirements:

  • Has 2–3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Is able to commute to Ealing.
  • Has experience in supporting autistic adults or children, and/or people with a learning disability, and/or people affected by mental health issues or behaviours that challenge.
  • Can organise activities that are person-centred and appropriate to each child’s abilities and development.
  • Has strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Has excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is compassionate and patient.
