We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Marketing & Events Executive to play a key role in the day‑to‑day success and growth of the Chamber. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining event delivery, marketing, member engagement, and operational coordination. You’ll work closely with the Chairperson and Client Relationship Manager to deliver high‑quality events, strengthen member relationships, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This role offers real ownership and visibility within a small, collaborative team. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, improve how things are done, and help shape the Chamber’s member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising members events and meetings
- Administration of the Chamber
- Supporting the Chairperson and Executive Council
- Maintaining KCWCC’s online presence and implementing marketing activities
- Supporting sales and providing a professional aftersales service
- Relationship building/management with existing members
- Event Planning & Delivery
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events, meetings, and the AGM
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, speakers, and volunteers
- Manage invitations, guest lists, and event logistics
- Attend events to ensure smooth delivery and a high‑quality experience
- Organise Executive Council meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Operations & Administration
- Oversee day‑to‑day coordination and administration
- Prepare professional documents, reports, and presentations
- Ensure agendas, minutes, and key materials are accurate and shared on time
- Maintain and improve internal systems, templates, and processes
- Keep records up to date, supporting continuity and handovers
- Marketing & Communications
- Manage and update website content and digital platforms
- Create and schedule engaging social media content
- Produce newsletters and promotional communications
- Deliver email campaigns to promote events and updates
- Maintain consistent, professional messaging across all channels
- Act as a key point of contact for member enquiries
- Support onboarding and maintain accurate member records
- Assist with invoicing and general sales administration
- Build strong relationships through regular communication and events
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, sponsorship, and growth
- Work closely with the Chairperson, Client Relationship Manager, and Executive Council
- Support delivery of wider organisational goals
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, events, and member experience
- Track actions and ensure follow‑through on key initiatives
