Kensington Care Home in Northallerton are recruiting for a Senior Carer to join us. Applicants should possess a genuine commitment to providing the highest quality of care within our beautiful new purpose-built care home setting, working alongside the other Care Staff. No sponsorship available. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Have at least 1 year previous experience of working in a similar Senior Care Home role and hold a Level 3 qualification in Care, or above and have a keen interest in progressing within the sector.
- Have at least 2 years experience working in a Care Home.
- Have a proven stable employment record and references.
Ideal candidate:
- Have the ability to work in a warm and inviting atmosphere, caring for residents.
- Be able to provide medication to residents.
- Be able to demonstrate at interview how you would provide person centred care to residents.
- Be able to multi-task, liaise and drive forward activity on site.
- Be able to act on your own initiative and have the confidence in your ability.
Additional terms:
- A DBS will be completed before commencement of the role.
- Full Time role.
- A variety of shifts will cover 7 days of the week (including alternate weekend working).
- Pay: £13.60 per hour.
