The Role
We are delighted to be advertising for a Traveller Support Worker (TSW) to endorse the education of our Traveller cohort and bridge the gap between school and the Traveller community. The successful candidate will be pivotal in supporting the needs and aspirations of our Traveller children by promoting cultural understanding, building strong relationships with families and providing strong pastoral support to all students from the community.
As such, the role extends beyond traditional classroom support and intervention – the successful candidate will be passionate about promoting inclusion, tackling core pastoral objectives such as attendance, barriers to learning and differentiating learning material – with the overall goal being continuity and the best possible outcomes for all Traveller students at KAA.
