We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR & Payroll Officer to join KAA. This person will support both the Finance and HR Manager with a wide range of administrative duties and play an important role in the smooth running of both departments. The Finance and HR teams are co-located in our building on Silchester Road and work closely, and this role spans both areas. The right candidate will be someone who shows initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism and flexibility in their approach to work, and is willing and able to learn quickly. The successful candidate will also be someone who has a high level of emotional intelligence, vital when navigating delicate or challenging situations, and will support the HR Manager with their casework, where required.

The successful candidate will ideally have some professional knowledge around HR and payroll systems, which will give them a foundation to learn the practices in education with ease. In time, this person will be the academy’s contact for all first line queries in both areas and they should be confident to triage queries from shared inboxes to a range of stakeholders. This, along with other requirements of the role, lends itself to someone who is able to be organised, have good attention to detail, self-driven and have the ability to be professional in a range of communications.
