Software Engineer (Remote)

Salary: £50k – £60k

A company that specializes in AI-powered software for the 3D Printing industry is hiring a Software Engineer to join its team. This role is a remote position, with travel to the London office occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Smoothly take machine integrations from the initial contract through development & validation to successful client workflows
• Perform software development tasks including requirements capture, software design, validation, communication with clients, troubleshooting, and attending client sites
• Run integration test scripts for client development of new integrations
• Support Customer Success and Commercial teams in client meetings, code reviews, and capturing integration status

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, or a related field
• Proficiency in Java and structured methodology of requirements and detailed communication with clients
• Strong ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail, use of Git, and ability to predict and cover all possible failure cases
• Experience with Jira for personal case management and backlog

Optional Requirements

• Frontend Web Knowledge, particularly ReactJS – Typescript
• Experience developing hardware systems, particularly robotic systems
• Strong Linux background
• Experience with ROS

Day-to-day

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will work remotely, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless machine integrations, perform software development tasks, and support customer success and commercial teams.
