Kensa Health is a growing healthcare group working across home care, virtual care and analytics. As an Accounts Assistant, you'll help support that growth by maintaining accurate finance processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll support and month-end activity. This is a full-time development role, that would suit a graduate, someone already working in a finance assistant or accounts assistant role or someone studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
What you'll do:
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and on time
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including supplier queries, ledger balances and debt collection activity
- Reconcile bank accounts, post cash movements and help maintain clear short-term cashflow information
- Support monthly payroll preparation by collating variable data, checking information and helping with payroll-related reconciliations
- Assist with month-end activity, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the production of monthly management accounts and help investigate key variances
- Work with operational teams to support accurate billing, collections and financial data
- Help identify ways to improve finance processes, controls and efficiency

About you:
- You are a graduate or have experience in a finance assistant, accounts assistant or similar finance role
- You understand core finance processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations
- You have strong accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
- You communicate clearly and can work well with finance and non-finance colleagues
- You are confident using Excel and finance systems such as Xero or similar
- You are proactive, reliable and keen to learn and develop over time
- You may be studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA or already hold AAT Level 3 or 4
- Experience with month-end, payroll, healthcare, care services or multi-site environments would be helpful
