We’re looking for a Marketing Account Manager who’s as comfortable in a spreadsheet as they are in a brainstorm. You’ll sit right in the middle of our creative engine – keeping projects on track, clients smiling and ideas flowing. Think: less box‑ticking, more orchestrating great work. You’ll be the strategic bridge between our creative teams and one of our key client accounts – turning ambitious briefs into beautifully organised, brilliantly delivered campaigns.

One day you’re mapping out a multi‑channel campaign; the next you’re sanity‑checking budgets, steering feedback and keeping everyone nicely pointed in the same direction.

Account management with a creative streak

You’ll own your own portfolio of projects, build long‑term client relationships and help shape content that actually lands with real people – not just in slide decks. Based in our Marketing team, you’ll plug into everything from design and video to web and strategic marketing.

The role

  • Project Management Preflight & Strategic Setup: Build timelines that actually work in real life – structuring projects so the right people are in the right place at the right time. Set projects up properly: review client assets, sense‑check the brief, and make sure everything is on‑brand and ready to fly, using Dropbox and project management tools to keep everyone aligned.
  • Briefing Translation & Team Activation: Translate client‑speak into clear, actionable briefs the team can get excited about. Make sure everyone knows what they’re doing, why it matters and when it’s due – then keep the momentum going. Write clear, accurate copy for things like scripts, webpages, brochures and social posts.
  • Progress Management & Client Communication: Keep clients in the loop without them ever needing to chase. Watch the timelines, spot issues before they explode and plan ahead so projects keep moving smoothly.
  • Revision Management & Budget Protection: Gather and organise feedback so it’s clear, actionable and doesn’t derail the work. Handle scope changes like a pro – protecting budgets, timelines and sanity while being totally transparent about impacts.
  • Quality Assurance & Standards: Sense‑check creative against the brief, brand and objectives before it ever hits the client’s inbox. Make sure what we deliver not only meets expectations, but quietly shows off a bit too.

Client management

  • Strategic Project Briefing: Ask the right questions up front, so you actually know what success looks like. Spot risks early – technical, timing or otherwise – and pull in the right people to solve them. Document everything so the project doesn’t live in your head alone. Get under the skin of the client’s world – their goals, pressure points and opportunities. Learn the language of their industry and understand where they sit in the market. Use that insight to shape better recommendations and smarter work. Build accurate quotes and get all the approvals lined up properly. Help shape proposals for bigger opportunities and flagship projects. Keep an eye on commercial reality while still delivering serious value.
  • Relationship Management & Growth: Stay close to your clients with regular, meaningful touchpoints – not just status calls for the sake of it. Spot opportunities to add extra value and suggest new ideas. Keep a running “wish list” of future projects that support their growth (and ours).

You’ll need to have

  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing (in‑house or agency side), with a solid focus on project management. Agency background is strongly preferred – you get the pace, the deadlines and the client expectations.
  • Proven experience coordinating or managing projects from brief to delivery.
  • Confident, clear communication and strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Hawk‑eye attention to detail plus a good head for the commercial side.
  • Hands‑on experience with project management tools and organised file systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing accurate, audience‑appropriate copy across different platforms.
  • Familiarity with Figma – enough to add content, review and tweak designs, and share files with clients.
  • Experience with tools like Teamwork, ActiveCollab or similar.
  • Understanding of content performance, analytics and A/B testing.
  • Experience using platforms like Dropbox and client asset management systems (Aprimo, Workfront).
  • Experience managing projects for both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Strong copywriting and/or proofreading skills to support your projects.

About you

You’re a natural relationship‑builder who genuinely enjoys talking to clients. You’re a creative problem‑solver who can turn a vague brief into something sharp and actionable. You’re organised, calm under pressure and protective of quality. You play nicely with designers, developers, videographers, strategists and everyone in between. You communicate like a pro and you’re happy to represent the brand in front of clients.

What you’ll get

  • A competitive salary based on what you bring to the team.
  • 31 days’ holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off.
  • A flexible, informal studio environment that cares about quality output more than presenteeism.
  • A great benefits package including pension, health cash plan and high‑spec kit.
  • Training opportunities, free refreshments and regular team days.
  • A 4‑day working week after probation.

The practical bits

  • Working hours: 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, based in our studio in Telford. We actually mean that – we respect your time and don’t expect unnecessary overtime.
  • Location: Our purpose‑built office in Telford, Shropshire, with easy motorway access and plenty of free parking. This role is 100% office‑based, so you’ll need to be able to travel to and from the studio independently.
