We are looking for an experienced Supervisor / Manager with a track record in food/convenience store retail to manage our busy Kennys Foodfare store. Kenny's is a privately owned Company which gives us freedom to design, manage and operate 6 convenience stores and an online wine store. We are an award winning, customer focused organisation.
Hours: Store Manager Hours: 40-45 per week, day shifts, no evening work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage this busy convenience store that includes chilled, fresh, frozen, ambient, in store deli, off licence and butchery counter.
- Mentor, encourage and train your dedicated store team.
- Organise and manage the daily/weekly orders, stock levels and availability in store.
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and store offers.
- Ensure a high level of customer service standards for our loyal customer base.
What we are looking for:
- A track record in retail management (preferably convenience store/high volume sales/fast paced).
- Commercial awareness - experience in management of sales, margin, targets.
- Employee management skills - mentoring, training and developing a store/department team.
- Customer focused.
- Capable of working to deadlines and multi-tasking.
