Kenny's Group has a range of convenience stores across the Province. We are currently seeking to recruit a part time Cash Office Assistant for our Kennys Foodfare Newtownabbey store (beside Corrs Corner Roundabout).
Hours: 8-12 hours per week, (3 to 4 shifts per week of 2-3 hours per day (mornings) including 1 weekend shift.
Cash Office duties will be:
- To prepare floats for each store tills
- To count and record all takings on a daily basis, with 100% adherence to the cash office policies to minimise the risk of financial loss.
- Reconcile all transactions on a daily basis completing safe checks and audits.
- Manage/order change for stores
- Investigate any variances and discuss with Store Manager.
- To resolve errors and queries
- Stock take cigarettes and scratch cards
Experience required:
- Experience of working in a cash handling environment, preferable cash/post office or bank
- Highly numerate and accurate
- Able to work on own initiative
- Track record of honesty, confidentiality and reliability in previous work history
