Due to the ongoing expansion of Kennys Foodfare in Northern Ireland, we are looking to expand our management team (Store Managers and supervisors). We have stores in Coleraine, Garvagh, Kilrea, Magherafelt, Randalstown and Newtownabbey, plus an online Home Delivery Wine store. We continue to upgrade and improve our stores for the benefit of our customers and staff. We pride ourselves in our customer service through putting our customers first in serving our local communities. We offer a high quality shopping experience for our loyal customer base.

Duties of our management team include:

  • Managing a busy convenience store
  • Ensuring store profitability through effective management of sales, margin and staff
  • Leading your team to ensure a high level of store standards and achievement of Store KPIs
  • Increasing sales and customer loyalty through the provision of an exciting store offering for our customers
  • Organising and managing daily orders, stock and deliveries
  • Manage all operational and cash handling/till processes within the store
  • Actively training and mentoring your store team living the Company values

Applicants must demonstrate on their CV the following criteria:

  • Store Management or Supervisor experience in a fast paced, food/convenience store environment (preferably a minimum of 3 years)
  • Experience in managing a team
  • A good working knowledge of convenience store departments (fresh, chilled, ambient and frozen) including ordering, stock control, margin, management and merchandising
  • A proven track record of providing excellent customer satisfaction and service
  • Achievement of KPIs/targets in your previous role(s)
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, organise and seek solutions in a fast paced environment

We offer training and development throughout your time with the Company including opportunities to develop your career with the Kenny's Group as the company continues to expand.

Hours: 5 days per week (which will include 1 weekend day). Day shift hours only, no evenings. Terms and conditions will be based on your experience and the turnover of the store. We are happy to discuss opportunities.
