Due to an exciting period of growth, Kenny Waste Management is looking to hire a Key Account Advisor, located at our modern office in Swinton. We seek candidates who are friendly, excellent administrators, and skilled at building rapport with customers. This role is ideal for individuals with at least 2 years of senior customer service or account management experience, preferably in an office environment or high-volume call centre, who are eager to work for a growing company in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for receiving, processing, and responding to key customer queries promptly and professionally, ensuring the service our customers expect. Job Purpose: You will manage key customer accounts as assigned by the company. Your responsibilities include handling quoting requests and issues in line with KPIs and customer needs. You will also manage daily operations at customer sites, resolve onsite issues, and respond to customer queries professionally and timely.
Principal Job Duties:
- Ensure all quote requests are handled professionally and promptly, in accordance with our sales process.
- Achieve a target turnaround time of 1 hour for one-off skip inquiries.
- Obtain prices from third parties following our sales procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain on larger projects.
- Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
- Send official quotes for new skips and log all activities in CRM.
- Communicate effectively and politely with customers, waste partners, and colleagues via phone and email.
- Process customer requests by raising and sending purchase orders to waste partners, ensuring adherence to current pricing and profit margins.
- Assist during high demand periods or staff absences.
- Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
Experience: Previous experience working in a customer service team. Good understanding of CRM systems.
Skills:
- Proficient IT skills.
- Ability to interpret information and respond appropriately.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, including delivering good and bad news.
- Supportive attitude towards team members and willingness to take on additional work during busy periods.
