Kenny Recruit are working with an established and growing tax firm who are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking HR Manager to join the team. This is a standalone HR Manager role, owning the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and retention.
The ideal person will be a natural people person who enjoys building strong relationships, partnering with senior leadership and helping shape a positive, high-performing culture. You'll also be someone who embraces technology and AI, with a genuine interest in using new tools and smarter processes to make HR systems as efficient and effective as possible.
You will report into a brilliant COO, who is looking for a real business partner to help him direct the HR strategy of the business.
Pay:
Β£55,000 - Β£65,000 (dependant on experience) + benefits + discretionary bonus
Location:
Camden. 5 days in the office preferred but hybrid split available
Working hours:
9:00am - 5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee handbook.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and best practice.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the recruitment process from job description to offer.
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and select talent.
- Develop and manage an effective onboarding process.
- Support employer brand development.
Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers.
- Manage performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, probation and flexible working matters.
- Coach managers on effective people management.
People & Culture
- Drive engagement, retention and employee development.
- Identify and address retention risks.
- Support a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
- Partner with leadership on team meetings, updates and offsites.
- Ensure fair and consistent people practices.
HR Systems & Data
- Own the HRIS and maintain accurate employee data.
- Produce HR reporting to support decision-making.
- Improve processes through technology, automation and AI.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through better systems and tools.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training.
- Support strong HR practices through training and development.
- Develop and implement career progression frameworks.
Performance Management
- Manage and improve performance management processes.
- Support managers with goal setting and development plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and address concerns early.
- Promote high performance while maintaining employee wellbeing.
Compensation & Benefits
