Kenny Recruit are working with a well-established international FMCG business to find a Management Accountant. Part of a successful European group, our client has a strong presence in the UK market and is seeking an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the UK finance function while acting as a key liaison with the Group Finance team based in Spain. You will report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic and operational success of the business. This is a broad, hands-on position that combines financial leadership with commercial insight, process improvement, and team management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, and controls, while helping to drive efficiencies and positive change across the business. The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with strong management accounting experience and a proactive, commercially minded approach.
Location: Basildon (4 days in the office)
Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm & 8:30am – 2:30pm on a Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare and provide monthly financial commentary and analysis for Group Head Office
- Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors alongside Group Finance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Manage cash flow forecasting and overall cash management processes
