We are looking for an experienced freelance professional to support our Origination / Investment Office activity, focused on capital origination for LATAM opportunities. This role is not sales-driven and does not involve advisory, pitching, or client relationship management. The focus is on targeted research and direct institutional outreach to investors with active capital allocation and clear investment mandates.
Scope of Work
- Identify funds, family offices, and HNWI with capital actively allocated for deployment into LATAM
- Conduct direct, professional outreach to establish institutional-level contact
- Confirm investment appetite and mandate for concrete opportunities
- Filter out exploratory or non-actionable discussions
What This Role Is NOT
- No payment per meeting or lead
- No generic investor lists or networking-only activity
- No sales, pitching, or client management responsibilities
Ideal Profile
- Background in capital markets, M&A research, investor outreach, or deal origination
- Experience interacting with institutional investors
- Strong understanding of capital allocation processes and mandates
- Comfortable with senior-level, direct outreach
- Based in Europe, UK, or international markets
Compensation & Upside
- Strictly success-based compensation, triggered only by demonstrated investor commitment (e.g. LOI or equivalent)
- No compensation for meetings or exploratory conversations
- Exceptional performance may lead to additional corporate benefits, including consideration for a formal regional role combining a retainer with success-based compensation, subject to the successful placement of multiple qualified investors or capital commitments
