About Kennies
We’re a London-based, fast-growing consumer brand – we make high‑protein snacking salami. Think Peperami, but better for you. We launched in December ’25 and are already stocked in 250+ independent retailers across London and the UK, alongside a growing Amazon, DTC and TikTok Shop business. We’re a small, ambitious team moving fast – and we’re building something we think can be big.
About the role
We’re looking for a sharp, hands‑on Founders Associate to work directly alongside the founders across the whole business. This is not a single‑lane job. One week you might be securing retail listings and coordinating a promotion; the next you’re building a repeatable system for a manual process, briefing a social campaign, or pulling together the numbers for a distributor negotiation. If you want to learn how an early‑stage consumer brand is actually built – and have real ownership from day one – this is it. You’ll be the founders’ extra pair of hands and extra brain: the person who picks up the messy, important problems and gets them done.
What you’ll do
- Your week will vary, but the mix looks roughly like this:
- Help win and manage retail listings – visiting stores, pitching, and keeping accounts healthy
- Support our distributor and foodservice relationships
- Help run our Amazon, DTC and TikTok Shop channels – listings, promotions, performance
Marketing & brand (~25%)
- Coordinate promotions across our retail and online channels
- Build and manage brand partnerships and collaborations
- Support social content, influencer and affiliate activity
- Help keep our brand sharp and consistent everywhere it shows up
Operations & systems (~25%)
- Keep the engine running: order processing, inventory, supplier and fulfilment coordination
- We’re an AI‑native business – we build repeatable processes for our manual tasks, and we’ll expect you to do the same. Wherever you find yourself doing something by hand twice, your job is to turn it into a system
- Work in our tools (Airtable, ClickUp and similar) to keep processes tight
- Spot where things are breaking or slow, and help fix them at the source
Founder support & special projects (~15%)
- Own the research, analysis and one‑off projects that land on the founders’ desk
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear plans and finished work
- Whatever it takes to help the business grow
Who you are
- 1–3 years’ experience in a fast‑paced environment – startup, FMCG, consulting, hospitality or similar
- A genuine, demonstrated passion for food & drink – shown through past work or personal projects, not just enthusiasm. You get why brand and product matter in this category
- Quick on your feet – you grasp new concepts fast and don’t need everything spelled out twice
- Sharp eye for detail – you notice the thing that’s slightly off and care about getting it right
- A true self‑starter – you take ownership, follow through, and get things done without being chased
- Commercially minded and comfortable jumping between very different tasks
- Based in London and happy to be out in stores as well as at a desk
Nice to have
- Experience building AI‑native workflows and automations
- Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Notion, ClickUp, Shopify
- Attitude and aptitude matter more than any specific tool or background.
Details
- Full‑time, permanent, based in London (this is an in‑person role)
- Real ownership, direct access to the founders, and a front‑row seat as we scale
