We are currently seeking a Sales Order Processor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based at our Weybridge Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of both customer and internal sales orders, ensuring smooth coordination between the Sales, Marketing, and Warehouse teams. You will play a key part in supporting the delivery of excellent customer service by maintaining accurate system data, meeting processing deadlines, and proactively resolving order queries.

Key Responsibilities- Accurately process customer and internal sales orders in line with agreed delivery dates.
- Manage order amendments, cancellations and delivery queries efficiently.
- Provide clear and timely communication to Sales Managers, Consultants, Marketing and Warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems (e.g. Navision/SAP) and Excel-based reporting tools.
- Generate and distribute routine reports (e.g. order status, back orders, POD tracking).
- Chase and reconcile Proof of Deliveries (PODs) where required.
- Support process improvements and team initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the SOP function.
- Previous experience in order processing, customer service administration, or a similar operational role (FMCG or wholesale environment desirable).
- Confident working with ERP systems (e.g. Navision, SAP or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Comfortable managing high volumes of data with accuracy.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Self-motivated, dependable and proactive.
- Calm and resilient when working under time pressure.
- Clear and professional communicator.
- Builds positive working relationships across departments.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible approach.
- Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
