Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, management accounts, and cashflow.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Lead budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with UK accounting standards.
- Improve finance systems, processes, and controls.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and HMRC.
- Manage VAT, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Provide financial insight for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Support cost control, margin analysis, and profitability reviews.
- Advise on funding, capital expenditure, and investment planning.
