Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an Office Manager on behalf of an SME business in the Sutton area. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager who is confident, organised and proactive that will be able to provide comprehensive support to the business.
This is a really varied role and will cover anything from health and safety, risk assessments, office building management, procurement, travel, and HR; so is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves variety!
Duties:
- Managing health and safety compliance
- Develop and implement UK employee handbook, review and changes as per employment law changes when necessary
- HR and administration of new employees including recruitment
- Office managerial duties, stock, facilities management, insurance etc.
- Identify training needs, develop training programmes and training administration
- Travel and events management - organise and oversee events, celebrations, meetings
- Manage contracts and relationships with suppliers
- Procurement
- Diary management, minute taking when necessary
Experience:
- Must have minimum 2 years experience working within HR
- Knowledge and understanding of current employment law/legislation
- Able to work for an SME, where you will be getting stuck in within all areas of business in a very varied role
- Experience with health and safety and/or business insurances are highly advantageous
- CIPD qualified or working towards this
- Ideally educated to Degree level but this is not essential
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Live locally to Sutton and able to commute to the offices as this is office based
