Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a leading organisation in Croydon. The scope of this role will be to help maintain a safe, compliant and proactive working environment across the warehouse and logistics operations. Key Duties Conduct and review risk assessments, workplace inspections and safety audits across offices, depots, vehicles and operational activities. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses , identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Monitor compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies and safe systems of work . Deliver and coordinate health & safety inductions, training and refresher programmes . Maintain accurate H&S records, reports and safety observations , while promoting a strong safety culture across the organisation. Experience & Qualifications NEBOSH National General Certificate 23 years' practical experience in a Health & Safety Officer, Coordinator or similar role. Experience in freight, transport, logistics, warehouse or similar operational environment is highly desirable. Proven experience in risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations. Good knowledge of UK health & safety legislation, with strong communication, reporting and organisational skills. Must live within commutable distance of Purley/Croydon TPBN1_UKTJ
