Job Description
Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an established company based in Esher who are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 9 month FTC. The ideal candidate will have experience within in similar role and will be looking for a role where they can continue to learn and develop.
The Role:
- Production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines for multiple divisions.
- Reconciliation of booking system expected revenue to general ledger postings.
- Calculation and posting of monthly accrued income values.
- Posting of all accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
- Post cost allocations for various overhead invoices.
- Undertake detailed monthly P&L cost analysis.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for multiple companies.
- Assist with year end and audit queries as required.
- Preparation of quarterly UK VAT returns.
- Oversight of purchase ledger function.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks at the direction of the Financial Controller.
The Candidate:
- Experience in the production of monthly management accounts to a tight deadline.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility in approach and ability to learn new system processing and skills quickly.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully communicate with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Inquisitive self-starter and solutions driven.
- Ability to show initiative and work on his/her own to achieve department and business objectives
