Kenneth Brian Associates are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Mitcham, who are looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller .
This role would suit someone who enjoys working within an SME, is commercially minded and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and providing valuable commercial insight to the wider business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate monthly management accounts across multiple companies
- Managing the month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing consolidated financial information and managing intercompany accounting
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
- Monitoring working capital, including credit control, debtor performance and supplier payments
- Managing payroll and overseeing day-to-day treasury activities
- Ensuring compliance with VAT, CIS, HMRC and Companies House requirements
