The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 Β£ per year.

Contract: 8:45am-3:30pm (Monday-Fridays), term time only plus 3 inset days. Kennet School embraces flexible working, and we are open to discuss possibilities for flexible working across all positions. All reasonable adjustments may be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities

  • The Inclusion Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs.
  • Working under the direction of teaching staff and the SEND team, the post holder will support pupils to access learning, develop independence, and engage positively with school life.
  • The role involves working with individual pupils and small groups, adapting resources and approaches to meet a range of learning needs, and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • The Inclusion Teaching Assistant will build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, promote positive behaviour, and support their welfare, learning, and personal development.
