Quantity or Senior Quantity Surveyor – Reactive & Minor Works (Freelance) Location: 2-days per week in Colchester / 3-days working from home Contract Type: Freelance (Outside IR35) We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a long-term freelance opportunity with a reputable and expanding main contractor. This organisation is well-regarded for delivering high-quality projects across the civil engineering and rail infrastructure sectors. Role Overview: You will be working within a reactive and minor works framework for Network Rail, overseeing multiple small-scale projects typically ranging from £1,000 to £200,000 in value. These are predominantly high-volume, low-value schemes, which may include emergency and urgent works.
