Kennet Solutions is a well-established boutique recruitment agency based in central Reading. We’re currently looking for a part-time Bookkeeper & Finance Controller to support our company Director with a range of finance and administrative duties. This is a remote, home-based role with plenty of flexibility to fit around your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the company’s accounts via QuickBooks, including VAT returns and day-to-day bookkeeping
- Overseeing invoicing processes, chasing outstanding payments, and reconciling accounts for both permanent staff and freelance contractors
- Processing the company’s staff payroll
- Liaising with a third-party payroll provider for LTD company contractors
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks, such as preparing employment contracts for contractors
About You
- Highly organised and self-motivated, able to work independently
- Confident using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in the recruitment industry is essential
