Full-time on-site role based near Newbury for a Soft Landscaping Crew Leader. The Crew Leader will be responsible for the successful installation of our landscaping projects. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team in carrying out daily site activities, laying turf and installing planting schemes as per site plans.
- Organise daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to programme.
- Sign off daily works and return all required paperwork to the Line Manager.
- Carry out ground preparation works.
- Plant shrubs and trees in accordance with site drawings and planting plans.
- Lay turf and create seedbeds and wildflower areas.
- Accurately read and work from site plans and drawings.
- Ensure all health & safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Previous experience in the landscaping and/or construction industry.
- Strong plant knowledge.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute work efficiently.
- Confident leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Full driving licence (essential).
- Salary up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Enhanced annual leave for 2+ years of service.
