Delivering GP care to a local large co-educational boarding school or involvement with medical services for an inpatient eating disorder unit perhaps?
We offer a competitive salary, reimbursement of indemnity fees, 6 weeks of annual leave plus 1 week of study leave (pro rata) and ongoing mentorship with one of our Partners. Main duties of the jobKennet and Avon Medical Partnership is looking for a Salaried GP to start as soon as possible, and we are happy to be flexible regarding the number and timing of sessions and working patterns for the right candidate. Keeping our workload manageable is important to us. Duty sessions are well supported by an excellent team of Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics, who undertake the majority of home visits. Workload is protected with pathology results and post all dealt with on your days off. Our very capable non-clinical team support GPs with the growing admin burden of processing letters, etc.
About usKAMP is a dispensing practice delivering care to around 17,500 patients in the market town of Marlborough, the village of Pewsey and the surrounding countryside. The practice is situated within the heart of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; has a range of excellent local schools and is close to the M4 and mainline railway services to London and the rest of the country.
We're a friendly supportive team of 8 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 1 Retained GP and a GP Registrar. The wider multidisciplinary team within the practice includes Nurse Practitioners (who look after our care homes), Paramedics (who undertake almost all acute home visits), Triage Nurses, First Contact Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses (who specialise in long term conditions management), Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, a dedicated team caring for over 75s, and Care Co-ordinators.
