We are an established animal care facility committed to ensuring the welfare of our animals and maintaining a hygienic, safe environment. We\'re searching for candidates who align with our dedication to animal care excellence.

*Role and Responsibilities:*
As a dog handler, you\'ll play a pivotal role in caring for our dogs. Your daily duties will include:
* Feeding and distributing medication
* Cleaning out and disinfecting kennels throughout the day
* Monitoring the health and wellbeing of the dogs in your care
* Exercising dogs
* Working with the team to ensure handovers are completed at the start and end of each day
* Taking responsibility for the safety of yourself and your colleagues
* Completing related administration and paperwork as required
* Driving company vehicles
*Skills and Experience Required:*
In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and / or experience:
* Experience of working with dogs in a kennel environment (looking after your own pets does not qualify) Minimum 1 year kennel experience.
* A full UK driving license and your own vehicle (we are not reachable by public transport) Ability to drive company vehicles transporting dogs to vets, appointments.
* Physical strength to handle dogs of varying sizes and temperaments
* An animal care or related qualification is advantageous. but not essential for people with relevant and recent experience
* Available to work weekends and bank holidays
As a company we are expanding and there is opportunity for roles in our other facilities throughout the UK. We are looking for people who want a longstanding career with animals, not just a temporary position.
*Salary:*
* Starting salary for applicant £12.21 - £14.50 per hour. Dependent on experience and role progression.
