Kennedys is looking for a Senior Associate to work on complex liability and injury matters, primarily within employers' and public liability. The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of claims, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ideally, a working knowledge of coverage is required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging cases and collaborate with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships are essential.

Team

Our national practice services personal injury claims from seven office locations across the UK. The team is a major force in the local market and is ranked in the top tier for defendant personal injury by the legal directories. We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. We are often instructed on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations via our international offices. We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in-house R&D capability and award-winning product suite of technological and process innovations.

Cases

  • Mixed value, non-volume, up to high multi-track
  • Motor and EL/PL including catastrophic injury claims

  • Both pre-litigation and litigated files.

Required experience

  • 5 + years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience
  • Litigation experience of assisting up to high multi-track defence work
  • Basic policy coverage
