Newcastle Training Contract 2027 - Healthcare at Kennedys, Tyne And Wear, England, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • This Training Contract will be the start of an exciting and successful career in a global law firm. You will gain early responsibility and client contact, developing into an excellent solicitor capable of running your own caseload once qualified.
  • Throughout the two-year Training Contract, you will be supported by senior solicitors and partners to develop you into a competent, confident and commercially driven lawyer.
  • Our Healthcare team advises NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and medical malpractice insurers of private hospitals, clinics and practitioners on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims. The team advises on medical insurance coverage, health law advice, regulatory matters, and represents clients at inquests and judicial reviews. The team has a presence across London, Sheffield, Cambridge, Newcastle, Birmingham and some of Kennedys\\\' global offices.
  • This is a great opportunity for candidates with an interest in healthcare to join a highly reputable division, ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.

Qualifications

  • To have completed a law degree or a non-law degree and the GDL/PGDL.
  • Non-law graduates will be required to complete a law conversion course prior to undertaking the LLM SQE1&2 course. We also welcome applications from candidates who have completed the LPC.
  • Before starting your Training Contract, we ask all of our future trainees to undertake the LLM SQE1&2 course and SQE exams.
