Kennedys is looking for a Senior Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities team based in Manchester, Birmingham or Sheffield. This role will report to a Senior Facilities Manager and will be responsible for day‑to‑day on‑site facilities services for approximately seven offices. It involves hands‑on servicing and leading the onsite Facilities Assistants and Coordinators.

Team

The Facilities team provides strategic support on projects, risk management, contract management, budget management and ensures the firm complies with local regulations and ISO standards. The team has a presence in all Kennedys offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the key point of contact for each office, team, and internal queries, reporting any major issues or concerns to the Senior Facilities Manager.
  • Ensure all offices provide a great working environment for Kennedys staff and a presentable environment to clients.
  • Manage team attendance and absence, covering other offices as required.
  • Support the Senior Facilities Manager and FM Operations Manager to maintain up‑to‑date statutory compliance paperwork.
  • Coordinate maintenance works with relevant contractors and log any issues found on each site.

Required Experience

  • BIFM 3 or above (or equivalent) – willing to undertake as part of a development plan.
  • Facilities management experience, particularly within professional services.
  • Efficient and diligent document management.
  • Team‑lead experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent administration skills with strong Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and proactively manage end user concerns or queries.
  • Ability to be flexible in approach toward others, identifying stakeholder requirements.
  • Willingness to travel between all UK offices to uphold a single team ethos.
  • Team player.
