Manchester Legal Apprenticeship 2026 – Fraud
Applications for our Legal Apprenticeship are now open, for a September 2026 start.
Our two‑year paralegal apprenticeship is aimed at those that have completed A Levels or equivalent studies. It offers an introduction to the fundamentals of legal practice and provides a combination of learning and working within one of our legal teams, building the knowledge and skills required to work as a Litigation Assistant at Kennedys.
You will earn a salary and gain a qualification at the same time, with the opportunity to study toward a Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Services, equivalent to the first year of a law undergraduate degree.
In addition to a dedicated supervisor at Kennedys, you will have a personal tutor and student manager at BPP to ensure you have all the support you need at work and with your studies.
Team
Kennedys\’ Fraud Team specialises in advising on cross‑client organised and complex fraud investigations. The team\’s work encompasses managing and coordinating litigation, developing investigation strategies, and safeguarding client interests. They collaborate closely with industry bodies such as the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB), regulators, and the police to ensure comprehensive and effective fraud management.
The Fraud Team is dedicated to building robust counter‑fraud strategies aimed at detecting and challenging fraudulent claims. They focus on implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and establishing measures to deter and prevent fraud.

Requirements
To be considered, you must have studied A‑Levels or equivalent studies and achieved at least 128 UCAS points.
