Kennedys is seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant/Executive to join our growing Disease team. Due to significant organic growth within this practice area, we are looking for an experienced candidate to join the team in our Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds offices. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a dynamic and forward‑thinking team that is dedicated to providing top‑tier legal services.
As a member of our Disease team, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse and high‑quality caseload, working on complex and high‑profile cases that will challenge and develop your legal expertise. Our team is known for its collaborative approach and commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. Our national practice services personal injury claims from seven office locations across the UK. We act on complex and high‑profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. We are often instructed on UK cases requiring cross‑border quantum investigations via our international offices. We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in‑house R&D capability and award‑winning product suite of technological and process innovations.
- Clients: Insurers, Corporates, TPAs, Brokers
- Cases: Asbestos, Noise‑Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), Hand‑Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), Employer's Liability / Public Liability (EL/PL)
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' experience of defendant personal injury claims gained within a law firm.
- Track record of capably handling a caseload of fast‑track and DCP claims.
- Experience of client contact.
