Kennedys is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their Casualty & Property Claims Handling team. The role involves managing pre-litigated claims from the initial notification of loss, offering a bespoke cradle-to-grave claims handling service through to litigation. The role will involve handling a varied case load of liability claims (personal injury and property damage) and first-party property claims of unlimited value for insurers, MGAs, Syndicates and self-retained policyholders, primarily in the London market.

We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognized as market leaders in this sector. We are often instructed on UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations via our international offices. We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in-house R&D capability and award-winning product suite of technological and process innovations.

Cases:

  • Third-party personal injury and property damage
  • First-party property claims handling across various industry sectors including social care, leisure, construction and retail, in the UK, Republic of Ireland and internationally.

Required experience:

  • 3+ years' experience of defendant personal injury and property claims working either in a legal or an insurance environment.
  • Track record of capably handling a caseload of pre-litigated fast-track and multi-track value liability and property (ideally EL/PL and medical malpractice) type claims.
