Kennedys is seeking a talented Associate and Senior Associate to handle complex liability and injury matters, primarily within employers\’ and public liability. The successful candidate will assist our highly regarded Partner – Joy Middleton who works between our Chelmsford and London offices. You will be required to work on a variety of claims providing high-level assistance on intermediate, multi-track and Catastrophic Injury claims. A working knowledge of coverage is desirable.

Team

Our national practice handles personal injury claims from seven offices across the UK. The team is a leading force in the local market, ranked top-tier for defendant personal injury by legal directories. We manage complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders. Our team frequently handles UK cases requiring cross-border quantum investigations through our international offices.

We prioritise practical solutions over unnecessary lawyering, working in partnership with our clients to deliver modern, innovative solutions.

Required experience

  • NQ UK Qualified Solicitor with relevant experience
  • Senior Qualified Solicitor from 5+ PQE
  • Litigation experience, including multi-track defence work
  • Basic policy coverage knowledge
