Kennedys is looking for a VAT Analyst to join our Tax team based in London, on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2026. The VAT Analyst will work as part of the Tax team, to provide a proactive reporting and support service to the Firm.

Kennedys Finance team support the Firm globally producing timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm's internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of the firm's global indirect tax returns and ensuring that all statutory indirect tax filing deadlines are met
  • Assisting with the implementation of indirect tax processes for existing offices
  • Provide support on day to day questions in relation to Internal VAT/GST compliance
  • Review annual tax and statutory compliance deadlines with other tax advisors/accountants to maintain an accurate compliance calendar
  • Liaise with relevant tax authorities in relation to entity indirect taxes

Required experience

  • CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Previous tax experience in a professional services environment
  • Previous indirect tax compliance experience
  • Demonstrable indirect tax knowledge, preferably with experience across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong attention to detail and discipline in managing your own workload
  • Strong understanding and practical use of Excel
  • Knowledge/experience of legal accounting system Elite 3E desirable
