Kennedys is looking for a Legal Administrator to join our Professional Liability/Cyber team in Manchester. The role involves collating information and updating spreadsheets for collateral warranties, managing document upload/download, renaming documents, saving to case management systems, creating court bundles, identifying key dates and deadlines, liaising with the team to meet client deadlines, and general office admin duties in a paperless environment.
Kennedys’ highly ranked team of dedicated Professional Indemnity specialists manages a vast range of disputes and provides complex coverage and strategic advice to insurer clients. The professional liability team handles claims of all sizes and complexities, covering insurers for large financial institutions, law firms, Big Four accounting firms, and regional/local firms.
Key responsibilities- Deal accurately with e-filing of documents
- Operate the firm's quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation and/or information
- Undertake electronic file closure and archiving when required and assist with locating closed files when required
- Previous experience in a professional services or partnership
- Good level of IT literacy
